It is said that once five devtas were flying in the sky one of them came down and settled at Daral. But this fall in the area of a Thakur known as Gadhiya Thakur who was very cruel. The two contested for the ownership of the place. In order to test the power of the Thakur, Devta Narayan asked the Thakur to lift the stone on his head.But the thakur can’t lift it out. Then he asked the thakur to lift it on his back. Once he lifted on his back, devta narayan buried him under the same stone on his back.People got rid of Thakur and they started worshiping Narayan. The Devta has 28 Mohras.
