HIGHLIGHTS
About a thousand years ago, a peasant in village Shocha was ploughing his field. Suddenly a mohra struck his plough and came out of the soil. He brought it to his home and it in a room filled with Kangni (Kaauni) grain. After some time when the peasant opened the room he was surprised to see that only half of the grains had remained. He saw that ants were carrying the grains leading to Nithsar. The peasant told this event to villagers. Then people constructed a temple there.
The people also tell that once an old saint sat here in meditation and accomplished his siddhi. This place is also called Budha (aged) Mahadev. The devta has ten mohras. The main mohra is named as Vnaadeu.
