HIGHLIGHTS
Once there lived a widow with her child in village Kharod. She found a mohra while working her field of Koda (kodra). She hid in the grain box at home. It was a devta. He used to play with her child in the day when she left him at home while she went to work in the fields. Once at the time of drought in the village people came to request for grains from her. She was surprised that the grains in her store had doubled. Soon the stores in the houses of rich men had become empty but her stores were full. People started calling her a dayan (evil spirit/witch). As a result of this all the people in the village except the woman and the child died. The devta was established in Bashkola and is also called Raja Bali. The devta has straight rath with 12 mohras. Devta travels to Manikaran and Vashisht on pilgrimage. The devta makes predictions about rain. Old temple has been renovated in 2004.
