HIGHLIGHTS
The legend has it that long ago a dumb man of Loundu family was ploughing the fields when the plough got stuck. When he tried to release it he heard a voice, ‘We are Gautam Rishi, Ved Vyas and Kanchan Nag.’ He was scared. He gestured other villagers to come and when they tried to get the hoe out of the soil they heard the same voice, ‘We are Gautam Rishi, Ved Vyas and Kanchan Nag.’ Villagers found a three-faced pindi there. Not only that the dumb man also started speaking. People constructed a temple here dedicated to the three devs-Gautam Rishi, Ved Vyas and Kanchan Nag. The Rath of the devta has 15 mohras made of gold and silver.
