HIGHLIGHTS
Located in Padei village. The Goddess goes to Kheer Ganga to take bath. She also travels to meet her brother Gumbal at Shaat village and Mangleshwar Mahadeo and Chamani Narayan. Goddess Chamunda of Dhara is her sister. Jangru and Jogni is also in the temple complex. In the original location of temple the idols of Mahishasurmardini and Ganpati are also there. The Rath has eight Mohras. This temple is also struck with lightening like Bijli Mahadev after a gap of several years. It happened in 2013 -14. Legend has it that a dumb herdsman noticed that one of his cows goes to a particular place and empties her udders there. On digging they found a pindi there, and the devi was known as Tara Bhatanti. The goddess had 305.12 bigha land which went to the tenants
